Highlights now on Flickr!

March 27, 2007

3 photographers; 6 hours; 2,279 photos – Highlights now on Flickr!

Looking over the set, there’s more photos of the bands than the skaters.  So, I might add to the set later.

The bands were all amazing! We had performances from Your Favorite Band (photos), Safe Haven (photos) and Olivia (photos).

Eternity Skate

March 26, 2007

The event was awesome!  I don’t remember the official numbers.  Something like 120 skaters, 60 attending for the first time and 4 decisions.  The bands were awesome!!  And Channel 10 News sent out a camera man to film the event and interview some people.

BTW, I have 2,279 photos from the event.  So stay tuned… I’ll put some photos on Flickr soon as I can.

New Years

March 22, 2007

I just uploaded some New Years photos onto Flickr (link).  Better late than never, right?

Pranking Pastor Mark

March 18, 2007

It is half past midnight, and I just got home from doing this to Pastor Mark’s office.

That’s somewhere around 1,000 balloons. It took 7 of us about 3 hours to do. So much fun!

Good food? How far?

March 15, 2007

How far are you willing to drive for good food?

I’m planning a little road trip… a 3 hour drive to Yuma, Arizona, where we’ll eat lunch at the Cracker Barrel. I’ve never been there, but I’ve heard great things about it. Optionally, the trip may include a stop in El Centro or Calexico, where we’ll eat dinner at Sonic. Again, I’ve never been there… blah blah blah…. good food.

Yes, I’m serious. And yes, I have found someone to go with me. But, before I nail down a date, I thought I’d check to see if anyone else out there wanted to join in. (My next available Saturday is March 31st.)

Venting

March 13, 2007

Work has been rather frustrating lately. And the other day, I jokingly told my dad that I knew why God was putting me through so much stress: to get me in shape!

Sunday, I played racquetball for 4 hours.

Monday, I walked 3.3 miles, then cycled 3.5 miles.

Tuesday, I cycled 13.1 miles.

SourceViewer

March 11, 2007

Today, I got a message from someone on Facebook:

Dude I use to have a copy of your source viewer I was wondering where one can get it now?

So, I dug around and found my most recent version, 1.2.0. Only, it had a bug: clicking the SourceViewer link at the bottom, which should make it view it’s own source, didn’t work. So, I spent a little while fixing bugs and enhancing it a tad. I also created a new home for my script, here, which has my newest versions: 1.2.1 and 1.3, and a changelog.

Daylight Saving Time

March 11, 2007

I performed Microsoft’s “Daylight Saving Time 2007 Update” for my Windows Mobile 5 phone.  But it didn’t work.  I’m not happy.

Time Travel

March 7, 2007

It has long been believed that time travel was linear and was not measurable or even observable. This paper will attempt to explain new discoveries, which will challenge our beliefs about time travel – that time travel can not only be measured, but observed. (more…)

Storage

March 7, 2007

So, our existing NAS solution is filling up. We’re at 453 GB of it’s 466 GB post RAID 5 capacity. Obviously, we need another NAS… So, we’re looking at this puppy: a gigabit enabled 2TB (1.5 TB post RAID 5) NAS devise

But will it be enough? 😛
